Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-27
These Terms govern your use of scenthutng.com (the "Site") and any orders you place with Scenthut Limited. By creating an account or placing an order you accept these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order.
2. Orders and pricing
- Prices are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are inclusive of 7.5% VAT.
- Delivery fees are calculated by zone and are shown before you place your order.
- Stock is reserved for one hour after order creation. Bank transfers must be received within that window or the order is released.
- We may decline or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, an error in pricing, or stock unavailability — you will not be charged.
3. Payment
Payments are processed by Paystack via card or dedicated virtual account (DVA). We never see or store your card details.
4. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates from our partner riders and can vary with traffic, weather, and ride availability. We do our best to honour the timeline shown at checkout.
5. Returns & exchanges
Because perfume oils are intimate personal-care products, we do not accept returns of opened bottles. See our Returns & Exchanges page for the full policy on damage, wrong items, and unopened returns.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including product names, fragrance descriptions, photographs, and the Scenthut wordmark — is owned by Scenthut Limited or licensed to us. You may not copy, scrape, or reproduce it without written permission.
7. Account use
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Notify us at security@scenthutng.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
8. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the Site, scrape large volumes of data, or interact with the platform in a way that could harm other customers. Violations may result in account termination and legal action.
9. Liability
Scenthut's liability for any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be resolved in Lagos state courts unless the parties agree to mediation.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. We will email you about material changes if you have an account; otherwise the "Last updated" date above is the canonical record.
12. Contact
